The term gicleé is French for fine spray of ink. Gicleé prints are printed on the best acid-free fine art papers or on high quality canvas. The process of a microscopic spray of ink conveys with clarity, brillance and fidelity to hold all the subtlety, texture and paint surface qualities of the original painting. Gicleés are included in many leading museum collections, having the highest quality that art and technology are capable of producing. As with original watercolors these reproductions should be protected from moisture, fingerprints and direct sunlight. With improved ink quality and proper care, gicleé will last a lifetime. Phyllis Knight Studio makes gicleé reproductions of original artwork and also works with numerous artists to create their own gicleés.
Gicleés are all signed and numbered by Phyllis Knight; editions are limited to 250.

The wine gallery gicleés of Beaujolais, Pinot Grigio, and Champagne are 10 x 24 matted and framed in black or cherry 1" frames. Framed and matted wine gicleés are $39.00 and $69.00 for the print alone.
COMMISSIONS
House portraits are done from photographs that you send. Choose one of your favorites and several of important details of your home (doors, windows, flower gardens etc.) Regardless of size, watercolors are very detailed with the base price at $450.00. All paintings are on 300 pound arches watercolor paper.

Original commissions other than house portraits can be done in watercolor, oils of mixed mediums, and the price will be quoted according to size, medium, and complexity.
